Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) in Elkhart, Indiana
You can survive weeks without food, days without water… but only minutes without oxygen. Oxygen is your body’s most vital nutrient — yet unlike vitamins and minerals, your body can’t store it. Every single cell needs a constant supply, but many people today are oxygen-deficient.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) delivers oxygen in a way your body could never get on its own — flooding your plasma (not just your red blood cells) with pressurized oxygen to reach tissues that normally stay deprived. Whether you’re looking to recover from injury, boost brain health, fight chronic illness, or simply feel younger and more energized, HBOT can help.
Why Choose Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at MP Health?
Many facilities only offer soft chambers. At MP Health, we use a hard-shell, FDA-cleared PVHO chamber (Pressurized Vessel for Human Occupancy)—the same standard used in hospitals and research facilities.
More pressure = more oxygen = deeper healing.
What to expect during a session of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

During a 60-90 minute session, your body is exposed to increased atmospheric pressure while you breathe 100% oxygen through a mask. This combination allows oxygen to dissolve directly into your plasma.
Why that matters
Under normal conditions, oxygen can only travel through the body when bound to red blood cells. But red blood cells can’t reach every damaged or inflamed tissue.
HBOT saturates plasma with oxygen
which can reach areas red blood cells can’t—delivering healing oxygen deep into tissues that are injured, inflamed, or oxygen-starved.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy FAQs
Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy safe?
Yes. Our FDA-cleared hard chamber is designed for safety and comfort. We pressurize with air, not 100% oxygen, which eliminates combustion risk.
Does Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy hurt?
The patient should never feel any pain. Most people only feel mild pressure changes in their ears, similar to flying.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals and condition. Acute injuries may improve in 10–15 sessions, while chronic conditions or neurological recovery may require 40–80+ hours.
How is your chamber different from others?
Many facilities use soft chambers with lower pressure. Our hard chamber delivers higher pressure and greater oxygen saturation for more effective results.
Can healthy people benefit from Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Absolutely. Many use it for recovery, anti-aging, immune support, and peak performance.
