What is Ozone?
Ozone therapy is a powerful tool in functional and regenerative medicine that uses a highly active form of oxygen (O₃) to support healing, boost immune function, and reduce inflammation.

Disease and Oxygen
We are constantly lacking oxygen due to polluted air, sedentary lifestyle, and poor diet. A lack of oxygen in our bodies causes an over-growth of harmful microbes, which causes mental decrease, increases cyclic mood disorders, prevents detoxification, and accelerates degenerative diseases.

How Does Ozone Work?
When contaminants such as bacteria or viruses make contact with ozone, it creates a hole in the cell wall, killing the contaminant. Ozone is excellent at balancing the immune system. Infusing the body with this energized oxygen allows proper circulation, nutrient distribution, detoxification, hormone regulation, and hydration. The more oxygenated our bodies are, the better we feel.
Ozone Delivery Methods
Ozone can be administered in several ways, depending on your health goals and needs. At MP Health, we offer multiple ozone-based treatments including insufflation, joint therapy, IV ozone, high-dose ozone, and the most advanced form: EBOO.
Insufflation
This method delivers medical-grade ozone through the ears and/or nose, depending on the area being targeted. It's non-invasive and beneficial for localized infections, detoxification, and immune regulation.
- Ear insufflation can help with chronic ear issues, congestion, and inner ear inflammation.
- Nasal insufflation supports sinus health, improves oxygenation in the nasal passages, and may benefit those with mold exposure or chronic sinus infections.
These treatments are quick, gentle, and effective — often used to complement other therapies or as a localized immune boost.
Joint Therapy
Ozone joint therapy involves injecting medical-grade ozone gas directly into joints, tendons, or soft tissue to reduce pain, improve mobility, and stimulate healing at the source. It works by increasing oxygen delivery to damaged tissues, breaking up scar tissue, and reducing inflammation.
Who can benefit:
Anyone dealing with arthritis, joint pain, old injuries, or sports-related wear and tear. Many patients turn to ozone joint therapy as a non-surgical alternative to steroid injections or joint replacement.
Ozone IV Therapy (MAH – Major Autohemotherapy)
Also known as our “standard dose” ozone IV, this treatment involves drawing a small amount of your blood, infusing it with medical-grade ozone and exposing it to ultraviolet (UV) light, and returning it to your body. The combination of ozone and UV blood irradiation (UBI) enhances immune activity and creates an environment that’s hostile to pathogens lik bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
This standard dose can be very effective on its own, or it can serve as a startin point for patients who may benefit from higher levels of ozone, such as High-Dose Ozone Therapy or EBOO. We can gradually titrate up the dose depending on how your body responds and yo specific health goals.
Great for:
- Fatigue
- Chronic infections
- Poor circulation
- Inflammation
High-Dose Ozone Therapy (10-Pass Ozone)
This advanced IV ozone treatment delivers up to 10 times the amount of ozone compared to a standard dose, treating blood in multiple “passes” during a single session. It also includes UV light exposure (UBI) with each pass, amplifying immune response and cellular oxygenation.
EBOO
EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) treats an even higher blood volume than high-dose ozone — up to 2 liters per session — while simultaneously filtering out inflammatory waste. Your blood is enriched with medical ozone and oxygen, then passed through ultraviolet (UBI) light for a powerful immune-boosting effect. EBOO is ideal for those dealing with chronic or complex health conditions that require deeper detox and systemic support.
